Originality: the Decreasing Amount of Dressing in the Cake of Wonderful Pictures
Internet crime is a rampant feature now with the enforcers of 'internet-law' still not being strong enough to control it. Apart from the extremely illegal events of hacking etc. there are also many acts which can be considered as illegal.
The unfortunate fact is that most of us are involved in doing these acts. It happens in the form of copying images including some of the latest images. Wallpapers are one of the major reasons for doing these acts. This is clear in the fact that normally these images are copied for being used as wallpapers.
Animated images and wallpapers are easily available using most of the well-known search engines. The attraction of these wallpapers perhaps, succeeds in preventing the users from seeing a single line which is present beneath these images. This line gives the information that the image has a copyright and it is, therefore, against the law to download these images.
Human lives are now full of responsibilities and nearly closed for periods of time meant for having fun. Hobbies are, therefore, more and more subdued in the race of being the best and earning the maximum amount of money. The act of taking pictures has, therefore, decreased in its frequency of occurrence. Original photographs apart from those of the photographer himself, are gradually becoming rare entities.
The time for choosing and then capturing the moment in the form of a picture, is now decreasing quite rapidly. When there is no time to do anything else other than the activity meant for sustaining livelihood, how can one focus on his hobbies. Human beings who have remarkable potentials as photographers are engaged in jobs which fetch them the money required to buy their bread.
One may argue that where have all the pictures being shown on photo websites, come from. The fact that should be understood is that the element of originality lies in the absence of any need to modify the picture. This is only possible when the person taking that picture is a skilled photographer. Skilled photographers are hard to find in this world which has only photographers who are involved in taking 'fashion photo-shoots' with the pictures being naturally modified.
Hence, options are being searched for, which can replace original photos. They are now becoming visible in the form of animated images and wallpapers. Most of the latest images that are now present on websites are either digitally enhanced or are not real. Originality is, therefore, an entity which is losing its existence.
This is indeed a reality which has to be faced. The importance of activities for bringing back this originality has increased. These activities need to be done quickly as the clock hands are quickly moving towards 'doomsday' for originality.
